Hi Dominique and happy new year! Hope 2015 is off to a great start for you! It’s been a rough few weeks for me. My mother had another series of strokes two days before Thanksgiving. She lived and is doing okay, but she still has many health challenges. She just came home from rehab on new year’s day. I had rotator cuff surgery on 12/23, so my holidays were pretty quiet as I recuperated.
Had to take my mother back to the hospital for super low blood sugar and she was in and out of consciousness. She’s better now, but I’m tired. This burden is weighing me down. It’s hard watching your parent in what seems to be her last days. She may have many more ahead of us, but who knows? Still, watching her failing health is very hard.
Anyway, if you see this and feel led to do so, please pray for me and your grandmother, Bessie Smith. maybe this will be the year where you finally reach out to me. I sure do need it. I miss you and love you and wish I could turn back the hands of time. I just wanna hug you. I really need that. You have no idea how much.
